Still Life Photography

Still life photography describes images which are still and set up. It is the depiction of an inanimate object, typically a small group of objects that are either human-made or natural. Still life photography gives the photography more leeway in the arrangement of design elements within a composition.
The photographers of still life photographs are expected to be able to form there work with a refined sense of lighting with compositional skills. In other words still life photographers make photos as well as taking them.


In addition to knowing the fundamentals of photographer still life photographers must have studio-lighting skills and the ability to use a camera.
Some notable Still life Photographers include; Irving Penn and Edward Weston.
